Hej Emmet, nu fandt jeg dig lige på nettet. Tak for sidst og tak for din cd som jeg alledede har hørt flere gange. Hold kæft, den er virkelig bare smuk. Polichenelle is probably my favourite album by any Irish artist. Saw the Prayer Boat play live in Galway several times around that album, including a tiny and almost bereft gig in the Town Hall Theatre. I may also be one of the few people who have an original cassette of The Oceanic Feeling album which is not bad. The lyricism of the lyrics and honesty and pitch of emotion in the songs, particularly on Polichenelle make them timeless. I hope The Prayer Boat are somehow rediscovered - it's a terrible injustice that they were so overlooked commercially given the combination of talent they represented.

Saw the prayer boat in Temple Bar in 1999. The hairs are still standing on the back of my neck. Polichinelle is still perfect.

Iv had the pleasure of seeing Emmett twice live. Other than that he is is on my stereo every day. He plays the most heartfelt, beautifull, inspiring, relaxing, thoughtfull and fabulous music that I have ever heard and I am a big music fan in general. He is unique in what he does and nobody could ever imitate or come to his music.
